Each individual receives services based on their unique strengths, preferences, and support needs. RisingAssist collaborates with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

  • Services are provided in accordance with the Virginia DD Waiver and DBHDS Adult Day Support requirements

  • Staff maintain appropriate supervision levels to ensure participant safety

  • Documentation is completed to reflect service delivery, progress toward ISP goals, and any significant changes

  • Services are delivered in the most integrated setting appropriate to the individual’s needs

Community Integration

Participants are supported in safely engaging with their community through planned outings and activities, when authorized. These experiences help build confidence, social skills, and real-world experience beyond the program setting.

Life Skills & Independence

Our program focuses on building practical life skills that support independence at home and in the community. This includes daily living routines, communication skills, decision-making, and activities that encourage self-sufficiency and personal growth.​

Health, Wellness & Daily Support

We promote overall well-being through structured routines, wellness activities, and attentive daily support. Medication assistance is provided when authorized, and participant safety and comfort remain our top priority.

Behavioral & Emotional Support

Our trained staff provide individualized behavioral support using positive, respectful strategies. We focus on emotional regulation, communication, and consistency to help participants feel supported and understood throughout the day.

Social & Recreational Activities

We offer engaging group activities designed to foster friendships, creativity, and enjoyment. Participants take part in games, arts and crafts, music, movement, and community outings that encourage connection and a sense of belonging.

Transportation Services

We are actively working to expand our services to include transportation support. Once available and authorized, transportation will help ensure safe and reliable access to our adult day program, supporting consistent attendance and community engagement.
