About the Role
RisingAssist LLC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Environmental & Facility Support Specialist to help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and organized environment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This position plays a vital role in supporting participant health, safety, infection prevention, and the overall appearance of our facility.
The Environmental & Facility Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and functionality of the RisingAssist facility. This role includes routine cleaning, light maintenance, supply management, and assisting with facility readiness to ensure participants, visitors, and staff have a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to pass all required background checks.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or facility maintenance experience.
Experience working in healthcare, schools, human services, or residential settings.
Knowledge of infection prevention and sanitation procedures.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe chemical handling.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
